ABOUT THE COURSE

This course takes you from a SketchUp model to a complete set of construction drawings with the AD Simple plugin. You learn to prepare the model, generate plan, section and elevation Scenes automatically, place grids, levels, dimensions, annotations, material hatches and title blocks, then export to PDF and DXF. The goal is faster documentation that still meets architectural and interior drawing standards.

Do I need an AD Simple license?

Yes. You need AD Simple to follow the course. The trial version can be used while you learn.

How much SketchUp do I need to know?

You should be able to build a basic model and use Groups, Components and Tags.

How do the online classes work?

Sessions run live online on each course schedule. The class link is in My courses in your account.

Can I watch the lessons again?

Yes. Lesson videos are added to your account and you can replay them for life.
